“ Came back here again today - first time was in 2023 and had a very similar great food experience..not sure why the plates are so inexpensive and seemingly fresh..the smoked duck, the saba, the surf clams, the grilled scallop, otoro nigiris were all the favorites. Uni once again was just ok. Had Uni at Tsukiji mkt in the am and was far better/sweeter and not the ocean smell/taste. The coke in a beer glass with ice was really good for some reason! Will definitely come back again when we can. Oh cheap af. Only cash 4 people, 20 plates came to be $44 usd. They were lightning quick too..if you are in the shinjuku area - must try and the metro station was block away. ”
“ Hands down the best sushi I've ever had. Very cheap and excellent food. Staff was very welcoming to foreigners and Japanese people alike. Staff spoke both English and Japanese. When I went there it was on a wait but within 10 minutes it had a seat open for me and my family. Small little inside but fun to watch the staff make the dishes in front of you. Tea is free and provided at your table (this is common in Japan) which is always a nice addition. If you're ever in the area this is an absolute must. Near the government observation tower and shopping streets. ”

“ This was probably our favorite sushi place on our 5 day trip! FYI: CASH ONLY $$$$$ We wanted a conveyor belt & this was nearby our hotel. Every time we went it was packed so there was a little wait (not too long - maybe 10 mins). I don't recommend this for large groups - or split up. There was a family of 4 (with 2 kiddos) and they had to wait for seats to open up. The toro and all the sushi was so fresh! I love the green tea & hot water dispenser. The chef in front of us was always SO KIND & quick!!! If you go when they open, you will need to wait a little bit for fish to get onto the belt. Right when they open they start cooking, but they will take orders as well! ”
